MIXED MEDIA ART CARDS  [ FULL ]
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2 , 2013
9:30-4:30

Take time to relax and play on five extraordinary acres in the country with spacious art studios, a sacred yurt and a warm, inviting home.

We will begin the day with a group circle in the yurt. We will share a grounding meditation and some guided movement, tuning into our bodies and connecting with our primal, creative, childlike energy. We will move into the studio and begin to play with fingerpaints on paper. Music and breathing will lead our movements, allowing us to remain present and find the delight and flow in our creative processes.

Midday we will head to the house for a delicious, healthy lunch. After some more group movement we will be back in the studio to carve images from which we will make prints on archival paper.

Later we will integrate pieces of our fingerpainting and printing with other ephemera to collage exquisite art cards that will be reminders of our joyful exploration.  Workshop will conclude with lively group song and a closing meditation.
